Arty, is the new and upcoming wonder of trance! Anjunabeats has signed him countless times. He's collaborated amazing talent, Mat Zo on the successful track, Rebound! And he's begun his DJing career already by playing in huge events such as ASOT 500 Den Bosch. For those who can't wait to see him, he's gonna be playing at Audiotistic, on July 30th in Socal! Listen for that signature Arty sound on this track Around the World! I wonder why it's 125 bpm tho? Anyways, keep an eye peeled for this young talent, we'll hear much more from him!
Check out the bassline on this one! Perfect Red is from Rising Sun, Aly & Fila's debut album. Aly & Fila have been around in the trance game since about 2003 when their track Eye of Horus gained popularity amongst the top trance performers. Since then they have been releasing singles and remixes, along with running their leg of Armada, Future Sound of Egypt. Future Sound of Egypt happens to also be the name of their weekly show! If your one that appreciates the thing called trance, then Aly & Fila should be on your music library!
Mat Zo yet again delivers us a masterpiece. He continues to set the pavement for the future of trance. He did it once with Rebound, along with Arty, and now again with Superman. Although it's not the conventional trance, Superman still does not seize to amaze me. It features a dabbling style of sound that still manages to bring the euphoric feel to it. This will definitely receive a live play at the Above & Beyond Group Therapy Launch Party! =)
Arty & Mat Zo!!!!!! Rebound is the 200th release for the household label, Anjunabeats. And in that celebration, Above & Beyond asked these two to collaborate, and this is what they have come up with! It is absolutely amazing! Best trance I've heard in a while! It is powerful, peaceful, and euphoric all at the same time. It was featured as Record of the Week on Trance Around The World, and was three times chosen as the Web Vote Winner by its audience!
Here at 123Flooor, plan on hearing this baby at Above and Beyond's Group Therapy Album Launch Party at the Hollywood Palladium.
The masterpiece start us off with an energetic driving bassline, provided in Mat Zo's signature manner, that gives us a powerful and loud pumping sound! This sets us up for what is about to come. Next enter the accumulation of bleep here, bleep there, bleep everywhere; the layering and accumulating of sounds one on top of the other perfectly bringing us newly discovered trance territory. At the 2:55 mark we reach the breakdown in its bedgasm style, leaving us in a peace of mind state. Mat Zo and Arty really set the mood here, but it is right after we leave the echoing thumps that the real magic begins. The hopeful and inspirational voice behind this track comes through in the form of the main melody. Wolfgang Gartner once said in an interview regarding his new track, Forever, "To me, it just has this energy of 'let's make this last forever,... Let's keep this going for as long as we can." Well to me, Rebound has a melody that you wish would last forever. As we ride the Rebound melody, Arty and Zo give us a little kick to get our feet off the floor and get us ready for the final stage of the track. Right as we approach the highest point of this song, Arty's signature power-synth takes over adding even more character to the melody, getting you ready for the drop, a drop that will blast you off into the world of 'dance like there is no tomorrow.' Once the drop comes, well... you know.
The powerhouse of trance brings us Nitrous Oxide, one of Poland's finest trance producers at the moment.
"The latest single from Nitrous Oxide's acclaimed 'Dreamcatcher' album, 'Follow You' (feat. Aneym) sees the Polish producer at his most uplifting. An opening set favourite of German legends Cosmic Gate, 'Follow You' features the stirring vocals of Anyem and blends subtle, progressive builds with a huge, infectious riff melody that soars in the breakdown."
Tiesto just loves to put live footage of his sets on the music videos. Haha ----> [previous post]
Release info: Tiësto and Hardwell both hail from Breda, Netherlands and the title Zero 76 is a nod to their home town's area code. Hardwell explains, "Being born and raised in Breda, Tiësto's hometown, I always felt a certain pride when others mentioned his name. When meeting him for the first time, last year in Ibiza, we had an instant click that lead to this cooperation."
Sun & Moon is the first single off the Group Therapy album by Above & Beyond, one of my favorite producers! Full album is set to be released in May, and catch this single which will be released on March 14! This group definitely take their musical talent to the fullest. Their live shows are just epic, and here at 123Flooor we are going to catch them live on May 13th for the Official "Group Therapy" Album Launch.
Video Description:
Director: Ferry Gouw
Inspired by a song that combines bittersweet lyrics with uplifting electronic melodies, the video for Above & Beyond's 'Sun & Moon' focuses on the pain and release of a couple's break-up; showing that relationships live on forever in the memory.
With the video drawing its aesthetic cues from the legendary Northern Soul era, the lead male is seen re-living the relationship and the final breakdown through a series of emotive flash back scenes and some lonesome, drink and music fueled longing.
Just as 'Sun & Moon' finds its release through its emphatic, riff-based breakdown, the lead recognizes the song and finds his own peace of mind the only way he knows - by dancing. Through a set of skilfully twisted and visually arresting dance moves straight out of the Northern soul era - where sad love songs like 'Sun & Moon' fueled a generation of late night dancers lost in lyrics. In doing so, he finds his freedom... in the moment.
At the first minute you get hit with an electro sound. But as soon as the breakdown unravels and the vocals kick in you realize more and more that this is that familiar "hands in the air moment"! Awesome release by the German duo, Stoneface & Terminal!!!
When Nadia's voice hits at about 1:55 you know your in for a journey! This remix is by Max Graham who is well known for other songs such as Nothing Else Matters and gives it an atmospheric and slightly uplifting feel to it. Sultan & Ned Shepard have been working together for some time dropping remixes for artists such as Kaskade, Morgan Page, and many others, as well as producing original tracks.
Those of you who managed to catch a set by Swedish House Mafia last year will definitely recognize this song: Blow Up by Hard Rock Sofa & St. Brothers. This song indeed did manage to blow up the live sets the superstar trio played all around the world. Hard Rock Sofa & St. Brothers are just two of the rising super-producers to come out of Russia, along with Arty, a trance producer[previous Arty post here]. This song is to be released as a package through Axtone records, featuring a remix from Axwell and Thomas Gold, and another remix by Australian producers Hook N Sling and Goodwill.

If you haven't had the privilege to see Tiesto live, you are missing out. I urge you to see his live performances if you haven't had the chance to. He will be having a residency, this upcoming year, in 2011, at the Hard Rock Hotel in Vegas. So if you happen to be in Vegas, check out one of his shows. This track is full of good vibes and energy like most of Tiesto's productions.
